Adam Williams: Welding & Custom Fabrication — My Real Joy
Brief Background
- 2002 Employed by Earl Industries as a civilian contractor Welder for components on US Navy ships. In my spare time as a side-business, | designed and fabricated industrial style furniture, including tables and chairs.
- 2005 Officially joined the Navy, serving as a corpsman and deployed 3 times. My welding skills were put to use on the ship.
- 2010 Separated from the Navy with an honorable discharge.
- 2011 Started work in a hospital as a Surgical Technician. Once again in my free time, I would do custom welding and fence work for clients, and the business took off.
- 2022 Because of the growth of my design and welding fabrication business, I left my hospital job to pursue what I love most—creating welded forms that my clients will enjoy for years to come.
What I love most about my work is the whole process: beginning with meeting the client discussing various options, finding the right design that fits his/her needs, and finally fabricating the work to the client’s satisfaction.
I love what I do, so when a client is happy I am happy. That is my joy.
